Kerr’s works on board are a tactile experience—meant to be seen, touched, and lived with. Drawing from his background in furniture finishes, he creates textured, layered surfaces that hold stories of places, people, and spiritual lessons. These pieces invite contemplation and connection, offering a visual and tangible meditation on life’s complexities.

Works on Paper
Vintage Books & Mixed Media
After years of collecting vintage books and objects during his travels, Kerr transformed them into art. The Works on Paper series (2020–2021) reflects on the predictability of pre-pandemic routines—pages once filled with familiar words that mimicked our pre-pandemic lives have been removed. In their place, a new story emerges, reminding us that even when we are left with very little, creativity allows us to rebuild and redefine our lives. These works serve as a reflection that we are all the authors of our own stories—so make it a good one. And remember, light always emerges from darkness.
Material Variations:
Book Covers – Structured compositions built from the covers of old books, with acrylic and/or book pages collaged on top.
Book Pages – Original book pages repurposed as a canvas for new meaning.
Mincing & Pigment – Deconstructed pages blended with pigment to create richly textured works.

I love creating custom pieces that are personal, meaningful, and designed specifically for your space. To begin, we’ll have a brief 10-minute consultation to discuss your vision, the artwork’s location, color preferences, and any existing styles you’re drawn to. If helpful, I can digitally edit a piece into your space so you feel confident in your choice.
For sizing, I ask clients to send a photo of the space (taken straight and level) along with key measurements—such as the width of a sofa if the piece will hang above it. This helps ensure perfect scale and proportion.
Once we finalize the details, I require a 50% deposit to schedule the work. Paintings are typically completed within 2-3 weeks, with an additional week for shipping anywhere in the U.S. via FedEx. Large-scale works ship via FedEx Freight, where delivery will be coordinated with you directly. Standard ground shipping is free, but special handling (e.g., inside delivery or lift-gate delivery) may incur additional fees.
